Zambia came into this compertition to do it for all the players they lost in the tradgic plane crash, but they didnt expect to win the compertition which they went on to go and do by beating Ivory Cost 8-7 In Penaltys. It was a goalless game but there was alot of action as in the 76th minute Gervinho was failed inside the box by 2 Zambian players and there was a penalty to Ivory Coast. Dider Drogba stepped up to take the Penalty Kick but he then skys it way over the bar. People have been saying that if Drogba would have scored that Penalty Ivory Coast would have won the match and the compertition, Since Zambia hardly had any shots in the game but in the 87th minute both Kotongo brothers for zambia Team up and made the Ivory coast keeper to make a Stunning save then hit the post and went out for a corner. In the Penalty shoot out both of the Premiership players missed in a row which then ment Zambian player had to score which he did and they wont the match in style.
